Stacey, Brett and Jackson

Jackson is perhaps the best baby ever! He is very cute, sociable, curious and he likes me! And one of his favorite foods is chocolate! What could be better? He was one of the easiest kids to photograph, good thing he wasn't my first or I would be unprepared and scratching my head for the rest of my career. Oh! And his parents were a delight too! Stacey and Brett were easy going and calm - always a help when photographing little ones! They really wanted Black and White images (my personal favorite) and most of these are Black and White, but there were a few that looked really awesome in color too.


I love this image with Jackson pursing his lips. He is so cute - if there was a chocolate in his likeness it would be the best chocolate ever!
This is Newman the dog. He too was cute, just not as cute as Jackson.

I'm not sure what he was looking at, but it could have been the chocolate his parents were bribing him with. Mental note - do a bad job when chocolate is around, maybe they will bribe me too!
I'm pretty sure he is sucking on chocolate in this picture.

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
