Michelle's session was a lively one! It had started to rain an hour or so before her session, cleared up and then shortly after we started, the sky opened up and dumped on us for about 15 minutes. Crazy weather! We had to reschedule because the humidity took all the curl out of her hair. At one point there was thunder and lightening and Michelle, her dad and I were huddeled under a tree. It occured to me that that wasn't the safest place to be... But getting soaked didn't sound so great either - I know being smushed by a tree or a little water -which could possibly be worse?

One of the greatest things about rain, is that it makes the colors so saturated! And with her blue sweater, it really brings out her eyes!

Here comes the rain! Water was dripping off my nose when I finally got in my car and I shivered aaaaallllllll the way home!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water! It was such a beautiful day! I love this one! It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go! Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot. This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite! It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was.
