Brighton Portraits, Hannah and Adam

I love these guys!  Hannah has been friends with my daughter for a while and I did her senior pictures last year and anytime to see Hannah is a good time!  Adam and Hannah have been dating for a year and Adam wanted to do pictures for their year anniversary!  So sweet!!
There was a lot of laughter!  I can't even remember what we were all laughing about, but it was one of the more laughable sessions I've ever had.

I love these in the tree!

See!  The laughter!  Adam said I must like my job because of all the laughter (of course I do!) and the control I have over people (insert confused face.)  He had to tell me to stop messing with his emotions when I said 'let's do a serious one' and then I said 'let's do a smiling one!'  I never thought of it as control, but now I have ALL THE POWER!  Thanks Adam!
 Love this one!
On the swings they were a little concerned they may have forgotten how to swing, they are adults after all.  I had no doubt that they would remember - they've were just kids and they were kids longer than they have been adults, but trying to keep them in line with one another was much more complicated than I thought...
At the end of the session, we found this poor little abandoned police car in the wood chips.  My daughter of course rescued it and took it home (but really left it in the car to be abandoned again.)

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Brayden, Golden, Co.

When Brayden said he wanted to do his senior pictures at Red Rocks, I was totally on board, Red Rocks is always amazing and absolutely beautiful! The only problem was the day we were doing them there was a concert.  I was very nervous! I’ve done sessions there before when a concert was happening that night, and it just a very adventurous thing to do. There are so many cars!  And people.  They are everywhere!  I didn’t even know who was performing that night, but that doesn't mean much...  I was crossing my fingers that it would all work out. And thankfully it did! It was perfect. There weren’t many people around until the doors opened, and that gave us such an amazing window to get some incredible shots. These are probably some of the greatest images I have taken at the tunnel! It was very exciting! We were lucky to be blessed with some beautiful deer! You can see all the cars starting to show up!  I was going to take them out, but then I was...
