Boulder Senior Pictures, Sonny

I did Sonny's sisters Senior Pictures last year, she has been friends with my son since kindergarten and I wasn't even thinking that Sonny would be next! And so close to his sister, I should have known, but I was still remembering him as a little middle schooler! When he got out of the car, I couldn't believe how tall he had gotten! All I could think was where was I last year?!?? And then I remembered, it was mostly inside and away from people. I am still like how did he grow up??
 
When we were in this spot there were a lot of people looking out over the point, I really wanted to do pictures here and I was hoping they would all clear out.  And they did, just long enough for us to do some pictures before the next group came in.  I love these!  And I love that the sun was right where Sonny was!

Sonny's sister did her pictures here and it was covered in snow and I had no idea how close we were to an edge that just dropped off like that (ahhhhh!) or that there was this beautiful view of the mountains!  There was so much fog we couldn't see very far.  I am so glad that we got to see this beautiful view!








I love this one!  I was asking him to squat and he did it so much better than I was thinking!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
