Boulder Senior Pictures, Cody


What a day this was! There was no chance of rain in the forecast most of the day and then a few hours before a storm rolled in and knocked down branches and trees, created smalls lakes in the middle of roads and made it really hard to get anywhere! All of us were late to Cody's pictures and for a bit I wasn't sure any of us would make it. But we did and had some beautiful light - and a much cooler afternoon for pictures! It really worked out in a very weird way.



I love beautiful all the colors look together!  And Cody just pops with that blue shirt!

I love that Cody wanted to do pictures with the Flat Irons!  They are beautiful and amazing! 

One of the things I love about parents coming to sessions is that sometimes they can get their kids to smile so much better than I can.  Sometimes it's the opposite and they don't smile at all.  But Cody's mom was able to get him to smile!  There was a bit of mischievousness in some of his smiles and I loved that!  A little bit of personality is always the best!
Cody's whole family was there for his session and I just loved how excited they were!  It is always so marvelous to have cheerleaders around when you are teenager!
I love this one so much!

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Brayden, Golden, Co.

 When Brayden said he wanted to do his senior pictures at Red Rocks, I was totally on board, Red Rocks is always amazing and absolutely beautiful! The only problem was the day we were doing them there was a concert.  I was very nervous! I’ve done sessions there before when a concert was happening that night, and it just a very adventurous thing to do. There are so many cars!  And people.  They are everywhere!  I didn’t even know who was performing that night, but that doesn't mean much...  I was crossing my fingers that it would all work out. And thankfully it did! It was perfect. There weren’t many people around until the doors opened, and that gave us such an amazing window to get some incredible shots. These are probably some of the greatest images I have taken at the tunnel! It was very exciting! We were lucky to be blessed with some beautiful deer!
