Destiny, Denver Senior Pictures

Before every session, I go over it in my head - where we'll start, which way we'll go next, where we'll end, etc... But it can all change whether we go left or right. I had planned Destiny's session out in my head and then she ended up in a different spot and everything changed. And the greatest thing, we did things I didn't plan and I loved that! It's always fun to be spontaneous and easy going!

I love this spot so much!  And rarely do I photograph it from this side, which now I think I should do more!  I love how Destiny was so fun with her poses!  It always makes pictures so much more special when people add a little bit more to the pose I put them in!  It always makes my job so  fun!

I am in love with how perfect Destiny looks here!  So amazing!

The amazing thing about this image was that 1 minute before I took this there were people everywhere!  Like everywhere! Luckily, everyone was quickly going to the next train and we were able to get a people free picture image!

I love this one!

I love all these with her cheerleading outfit!  We had so much fun with these!  And man can she jump! Oh to be young and be able to be like that!

We had started a little late and as we were going to the 2nd location, the sun was setting.  I was so worried it would be too dark to get some of these, but it wasn't.  I love how saturated the colors came out!  They look so amazing!

Love, love, love this one!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
