Mason was such a great sport!  He was very clear that he was doing this for his mom.  I loved that he was so willing to and didn't complain!  So many of the seniors I photograph who are doing it for their mom, don't say they are doing it for her, but doing it because she said so 😆 And honestly, as great as Mason was, I couldn't tell that he was an unwilling participant 😉 I love this wall!  It is so cool!  It reminds me of some of the architecture in Chicago that represents the lake. It was amazing how different the bridge seemed that day!  I don't know if it Mason or what, but it seemed seemed newer and I saw things a lot differently with him 😂 I love this one!  Definitely one of my seeing the bridge differently ones! The fence!  Probably my favorite spot! The sun had come out and was just making everything look so perfect! I love this one! Stef asked me to do these months and months ago and it seemed so far away and then suddenly it was here!  I was so excited to be doing something nice for her and Norm because they are amazing people!  It was great to meet their grandkids, they talk about them all the time! And they were just as delightful as Stef and Norm have told me!  It was so great to see them with all of the grandkids. There were definitely some characters in this group 😂  I had so much fun with the cousins! We had a blast!  All day and the day before, I had been checking weather to see what it would be like for Alexys' senior pictures and it was going to be fine.  And then at 1pm the day of her pictures, it started hailing and the weather predictions changed.  It was nerve wracking!  But still the chance of rain was small at Hudson Gardens .  The 30 minute drive there was filled with spots of rain, angry clouds and wind... And then I didn't update her on which location we were doing first, I wasn't feeling the greatest about how this was starting!  But she was so upbeat and excited by the time she arrived at Hudson Gardens that I was like this is going to be great!  I just loved her energy!  And it was a fantastic session!  No rain!  Gorgeous light!  And one of the happiest people!  It was wonderful!
