I feel like I am super behind! Here is yet another installment to the cousins! This is Makaela (on the right) and Lexi (on the left). I would say they were the hardest of all the cousins. Partially, because Makaela is my daughter and partially because they are both tweens. And tweens don't seem to listen, they think they are (sometimes), but they don't seem to understand their native language. Like when I say "give me your real smile, not the cheesy smile - you know the smile you give your friends." Or when I say turn this way and they barely move or look at me like I am speaking a different language. I tried to take it as a way to improve my instructions... But I'm not sure I was really internalizing anything. I'll have to work on that!

This is by far my favorite!





Do you know how hard it is to get tweens to laugh? Yeah, me either. I thought it would be easy... but not so much.

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Brayden, Golden, Co.

 When Brayden said he wanted to do his senior pictures at Red Rocks, I was totally on board, Red Rocks is always amazing and absolutely beautiful! The only problem was the day we were doing them there was a concert.  I was very nervous! I’ve done sessions there before when a concert was happening that night, and it just a very adventurous thing to do. There are so many cars!  And people.  They are everywhere!  I didn’t even know who was performing that night, but that doesn't mean much...  I was crossing my fingers that it would all work out. And thankfully it did! It was perfect. There weren’t many people around until the doors opened, and that gave us such an amazing window to get some incredible shots.
