I know it is strange to start a blog off with someones feet, but it was such an important part of our session. Perhaps I should have taken a picture of the goat heads that kept poking our feet. They were really the problem and the bottom of our flip-flops were covered in them! It took us twice as long to walk anywhere! It was crazy! Either way, Alyssa, her mom and sister and I laughed a lot about so many things - one of those things being goat heads and their annoying habit of sticking to our shoes, feet, hands and clothing. And here is the beautiful Alyssa.




And let me tell you how hard it was to one find a place for her lay down and two find a place for me to sit on the tracks and take pictures without either of us getting poked by all those poky goat heads.













While we were out, we found this wonderful grafitied bus!

I couldn't decide between the color or the black and white, so I put both in!









Alyssa has always wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower, so when her sister went she bought her this model as a present. I thought that was very sweet of her.















I loved this field and the light behind her, it was fabulous!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was.
