Portraits, Mark and Tara's Clan

I have known Mark for a r-e-a-l-l-y long time!  It was very exciting to be photographing him and his fiance Tara and their family.  All of the kiddos made it quite lively, they were very well behaved, but full of spunk and craziness (see image below of the boys).

 Kayla was of course the easiest to photograph!  She was is so beautiful!  And the wonderful grasses looked so wonderful with her hair.  I think I could have photographed her all day!

 But this would be why they are all like they are.
 We also did some engagement images.  We were hoping that the kiddos were behaving behind us, there was very little screaming so I think it was all ok.



 This is Tara's engagement ring.  I love the henna!
 This is Mark's braided knot bracelet and there is not beginning or end.  Very cleaver!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain?
