Lafayette Senior Pictures, Josh

Josh is such a great down to earth young man!  He is very carefree and was willing to do just about anything - like climb an old stump of tree that is missing a lot of it's center and climb all over tree limbs that are growing out over the water!  We had such a great time!  And I have to say, I don't usually include so many serious faces, but he is really good at it!  It was hard not to do all the blog pictures serious, but I knew that is not really how he is, so I thought it best to include some smiling ones too!



 I love these by the water!  All the colors go together so well!







 I love all these in the grass!
 It was so hard to pick between color and black and white!  Josh has such a classic look, he could be from the 20's!
 I was standing in the water for these, not really an unheard thing for me to do, but I do have to say I prefer standing in spring run off on a hot day!  Standing in cool water on a cooler fall day is not my favorite thing to do.  Josh was so awesome to climb out on these branches!  Especially in a suit!

She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain?
