Thornton Family Portraits, Christina and Eli

I was really excited to be doing Christina and Eli's pictures again!  And then the morning came and there was so much fog I could only see 20-30 feet in front of my car.  As much as I would love to do a portrait shoot in the fog, I know that not everyone would like that look.  So, we waited for the fog to lift and got some wonderful light!  We were doing pictures at East Lake Park and I was hoping there would still be some lingering fog on the lake, but it cleared by the time we were near the water.  It was amazing how it went from looking like this to clear and sunny.

I love to see what people wear to their portrait session (especially thees guys!  There last session, they dressed amazing!) and I think that they did a fabulous job with their colors!  And we were so lucky to still have leaves on the trees!  There was so much wind a few days previous that so many of the trees where we were had very few leaves.
These two boys are just the cutest!  They are so sweet and just awesome!  They were so good throughout the entire session!

The thing I love most about these guys is that they are such a close family.  It is so obvious how much they love being together.  It just make me all warm inside to see that!

I promised them a funny face picture and then when the time came, they both had to stop and think about it.  They totally crack me up!
I love it when couples still want to do pictures with each other!  I love it!

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Sophia Senior Pictures, Boulder

The thing I remember the most about Sophia's session was walking around chatting and laughing! This girl is going places, she is just so busy with everything! And I bet she does everything with that beautiful smile of hers! I love this one!  Her hair!  It is just gorgeous! I love that whatever pose I put her in, she looked so amazing!   I love all these colors, they were absolutely beautiful! I mentioned that she could get into the water if she wanted and the next thing I know she is sitting in the water!  It was so awesome! I would have suggested she get her hair wet, but we still had another location to get to! I love these in the field so much!   Chautuaqua  is always a magical place! And then the sun came out!  We were out of the field at this point and when the sun came out, Sophia and I ran back and did some more pictures!  I was so excited! Sophia has been seeing rainbows everywhere and at the end of our session, this wonderful ra...

Cecilia, Andrew and their adorable children. Oh and a few alpacas. Franktown, Co

Photographing with alpacas has been sooooo much fun! They are just adorable, sweet and have the cutest faces! And this family made it so much more enjoyable! These kids are downright adorable! And full of such personality - I was in love!   These kids!  Their reactions to the alpacas were just adorable!  There's a video on instagram about it too, I encourage you to go check it out!  So cute! Those sweaters!  They were so cute!  Hopefully they were warm because it was cold that day!  And out in the field with all the snow was so much cooler!  But those kids were amazing leaving their jackets off while we took pictures!  I personally would have frozen and just fallen over without my jacket! I love LOVE this light!  If the kids hadn't been warmly bundled in a wagon, I would have thrown them in to the image too, but to make them get out in the cold was a little cruel.   For more information on High School Seniors, Portraits and Weddings...
