College Graduation, Cristal

Cristal is about to graduate from the University of Colorado at Denver! It is amazing and awesome! And she is off to do great things in the world! I am so excited for her!

When we got there, this is what the Flat Irons looked like... I was hoping that it would slow down a bit or stop, but it just kept snowing!  We ended leaving the Flat Irons early and going to a coffee shop and then rescheduling for another day.







I love this one!  Starbucks was nice enough to let us take pictures so that poor Cristal didn't freeze outside in the snow!

She was laughing at me because I was so excited that the bottom of her shoes were red.  I mean really!  Red bottomed shoes!  That is so cool!


She is so cute!  I just adore her so much!








This was our second go around.  I brought extra "snow" because I thought the existing snow may not be good snow to throw in the air.  I am pretty sure people were confused as to why we were there with fake mashed potatoes and champagne, I admit it is a little weird, but we had fun!




It was so funny when it started to spray!  I almost didn't get the shot because I was laughing so hard!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was.
