Littleton Family Pictures, Diedre and her beautiful family

We were having such a hard time with scheduling, weather and such things and we finally found a time that worked... And then when I arrived it looked like there was some sort of event happening and I was a little worried, but luckily it turned out to be homecoming for multiple schools... And when I say luckily, the only thing lucky was that the cool spots weren't closed, but there were so many students everywhere! All over the place!
What an awesome family!  And not only are they wonderful and likeable, just look at their beautiful smiles!  So gorgeous!

They almost got another kid, he just wandered into the image.  I thought he was going to stay, but he decided to go to Homecoming instead of hanging out with us.  But he matched the youngest, so it would have been fine if he stayed!

Oh my gosh!  These two!  Can you imagine having someone look at you like these two look at each other??  Swoon!

I love how each of these boys is so different!  And they were so polite and interested in my assistant and I (I mean who wouldn't be interested in my fantastic assistant?!?? She is amazing!)  I think that shows such a maturity and well roundedness!  They are definitely awesome young men, way to go mom and dad!

I had been eyeing this view of the bridge, but it was always covered in Homecoming kids!  I was so glad so many had left as we were walking back!  This is one of my favorite spots at Hudson Gardens and I really didn't want to miss it!  And this was the end of my permit to photograph there, so I really didn't want to miss it!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
