Colorado H.S. Senior pictures, Doug

Our first appointment for Doug's Senior pictures was rained out.  And not just a little, but huge swells of blowing rain and flooded streets rain.  We had moved the time hoping to avoid the rain, but instead, we got more rain!  Where we did his pictures usually takes me 10 minutes to get to and it took me 25 minutes to get home from there.  It was a bit crazy!  So when we finally got to do his pictures, it was sunny and a mostly mild day.  The wind did pick up a little, but his hair stayed right in place! 
Doug was a little shy at first, but after a few laughs he warmed up.  He still didn't say much, but he was such a great kid!  I really enjoyed walking around - especially without all the rain.

This young man! He is fantastic! Sophia Senior Pictures, Boulder

The thing I remember the most about Sophia's session was walking around chatting and laughing! This girl is going places, she is just so busy with everything! And I bet she does everything with that beautiful smile of hers! I love this one!  Her hair!  It is just gorgeous! I love that whatever pose I put her in, she looked so amazing!   I love all these colors, they were absolutely beautiful! I mentioned that she could get into the water if she wanted and the next thing I know she is sitting in the water!  It was so awesome! I would have suggested she get her hair wet, but we still had another location to get to! I love these in the field so much!   Chautuaqua  is always a magical place! And then the sun came out!  We were out of the field at this point and when the sun came out, Sophia and I ran back and did some more pictures!  I was so excited! Evan Senior Pictures, Golden

Evan really wanted to do pictures in an aspen grove and I was really worried all the leaves would be gone, and most of them were. But there were enough to make it look good. And the grasses! Oh my they were so amazing! I absolutely love the blue with all the fall colors!   I love this one! I love how Evan did his hair different at the 2nd location!  I always wish there was more time to do such things on sessions!
