Boulder High School Senior Pictures, Braden

We did Braden's Senior Pictures at Eldorado Canyon, it is one of my favorite places - or it used to be.  When we were there it was like playing checkers with all the other photographers and their clients.  I think there were more photographers than hikers, kind of disappointing that one of my favorite spots has been found by others.  Again.
Braden is such a great kid!  He was so down to earth and happy!  He was great at posing himself, he made it so easy to photograph him!  We got such a great variety of images!  I loved the water and the field so much!





 I love this one!

 A few days before this my throat hurt and my eyes were stingy, turns out there were huge fires a few states away and the smoke was making it's way to Colorado.  When we first arrived we were really bummed that you couldn't see the mountains because of all the smoke.  It made for such cool pictures!  But it was a bummer that we were so close to the mountains and couldn't really see them.


 I love these in the field!



 I really like this one!  The smoke makes it look awesome!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
