Golden Senior Pictures, Kyra and Matt

My nephew, my sweet little nephew, that is really not so little (he may tower over me a little.  Or a lot...) is a High School Senior this year.  I cannot believe how quickly he went from a cute baby that was so loud at my brother-in-laws high school band concert that some woman turned around and told him (a baby) to be quiet, to a high school senior himself!  It's mind blowing!
I was lucky enough to do his pictures and his girl friend Kyra's pictures!  I had such a good time hanging out with them!  We walked around Golden and did pictures around the Golden Historic Park and then went to lunch and did some more.  It was fabulous!

 I love Kyra feeding the chickens!  When I asked Matt if he wanted to feed the chickens too, he said that was a bit morbid because he felt like he was just making his food fatter. But it was ok for Kyra because she is a vegetarian - this totally made me laugh!  And I will never look at feeding chickens the same again... I may have to become a vegetarian again...





 I love all of these soooo much!  I could have stayed in this exact spot all weekend!










 Matt found this alley off of the yellow wall and I was so happy!  I knew I could have spent the following weekend in this alley!







 I love these two!  They are just super precious to me!  I cannot believe that the next step of their lives is so close!  I am so excited to see what they do!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
