Gray’s senior session was the perfect example of why sometimes, even when things don’t go as planned, they turn out even better. Her mom and I decided to take a gamble on the weather… and well, we lost. But instead of letting the rain ruin our plans, we got creative—and what we ended up doing was absolutely amazing!
Gray was such a champ through it all, so easygoing, flexible, and genuinely excited about the change of plans. I was so grateful for her energy and adventurous spirit. When we realized outdoor photos weren’t going to happen, we found the most perfect indoor locations inside a historic hotel and the cozy Boulder Bookstore.
I am so grateful that both spaces were kind enough to let us photograph inside, and they couldn’t have been a better match for Gray’s style. Her outfits were spot-on! They were stylish, unique, and perfectly suited to the warm, vintage feel of both spots.
We ended up having the best time exploring and making the most of the unexpected. I’m so thankful to Gray and her mom for trusting me, taking a chance, and not rescheduling. Especially since they had no idea what we’d end up doing!
And for the second time today I am posting about a session that had a curveball! It just shows that sometimes the best sessions are the ones that weren’t in the plan.
That ceiling! It is so amazing!
I love these by the windows!
I love these! Such a cozy spot!
Gray's mom suggested this and I just love it! You get to see so much of the building!
I love this one! Gray was so much fun!
When I suggested we go the bookstore Gray lit up! She was so excited! I was just so thankful that it stopped raining so we could walk there! And bonus there was hardly anyone out!
I love this one!
I love these with her mom!
These are so magical in front of the bookstore! Even if we had planned the bookstore, we wouldn't have been here this late. It was just so perfect that we had start later because we ended up here at the perfect time!
