Boulder Engagement Session, Savannah and Jonathan

I have known Savannah since she was so tiny, maybe kindergarten? I cannot believe she is getting married! Can I be old enough for that - can she be old enough?? These kids! They grow up so quick! And Savannah has found such an amazing young man! Jonathan is absolutely wonderful! And their story of meeting is movie worthy! AND seeing them singing together, which is part of their story, is just magical! I am so happy for them!

I love this one!


I always love doing engagement pictures at Chautauqua!  It is just a beautiful spot and very romantic!



I love these with the rings!  So sweet!













It was hard to get these 2 to be serious, but when they did, they looked amazing! My favorite part of them being serious - the laughter!

Jonathan was so cute, at the end of the session he said his favorite part was when they got to kiss.  They were very sweet!  So in love!







We were so lucky it didn't rain that day, it rained every day before and after this!  I brought an umbrella just in case it did rain and then when it didn't I was a little bummed. I had so many wonderful ideas, so we had to do a few at the end just because.

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy.
