Jenna and Cory Family Pictures

Jenna's mom had sent the girls these pink (PINK!) dresses! Oh my how adorably pink they are! My favorite image is of M standing on top of the truck in her boots and the dress! Totally cracks me up, you can just tell that this girl is all boots and mud! Xoxo!

I don't usually like to start a session off with funny faces and goofing off with little ones, they have a hard time switching back to smiles and sweetness, but not this little one!  She had ideas and plans on how, where and what we were going to do!  She was on a mission and luckily it included smiles and sweetness!

This is the smiliest baby EVER!  When her mom said that, I was like "well... she hasn't met me and seen my camera in front of my face yet..." (it's a thing, it tends to confuse kiddos.)  But her mom was right!  It's like she thinks her name means smile!  I was so extra delighted by this bundle of joy!

I love this one!  They are so precious!

Horses!  When Jenna and I first talked, we talked about her bringing the horses and then it seemed like maybe it would be too much.  But I could tell she really wanted to bring them.  And she did!  I was super excited about the horses, they are so gorgeous and just add an element of fun to a session.  I love horse people, they are so bonded and care so much about their animals!  I love seeing that connection!

I love this one!

Hands down, my favorite one from this session!  When I saw this I was on the floor! So stinking cute!

Towards the end the horses were getting a little annoyed with behaving and posing and not eating anything and everything they wanted (which they pretty much did anyway.)  I just thought this was so cute with mom and daughter on horses!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
