Brighton Senior Portraits, Nadia

I really have been so lucky to have such wonderful seniors this year!  And Nadia was definitely one of those treasures, her personality is so much bigger than the images show.  I could tell she definitely knew who she was and what she wanted - and the best part was, she wasn't afraid to show it.  She had this child-like wonderment and it made her glow.  She played on the swings and blew bubbles and was not self conscious about it at all.  I loved it!  I feel so bad for teenagers when they are incredibly self conscious, I think it holds them back.  And they don't realize that most people notice them more because they are so self conscious, but if they were able to relax and be themselves they wouldn't be noticed as much.
 



 I love these with the bubbles!  It was so fun to have her play with the bubbles, although hard because the wind would blow them toward her and then away from her and then pop them before they got to her....  But totally worth it!



 This is her Nadia pose, she has been doing it since she was a little kid.  I love it when people share these kinds of things with me!  I think it adds so much to the session and gives it more meaning.

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Brayden, Golden, Co.

 When Brayden said he wanted to do his senior pictures at Red Rocks, I was totally on board, Red Rocks is always amazing and absolutely beautiful! The only problem was the day we were doing them there was a concert.  I was very nervous! I’ve done sessions there before when a concert was happening that night, and it just a very adventurous thing to do. There are so many cars!  And people.  They are everywhere!  I didn’t even know who was performing that night, but that doesn't mean much...  I was crossing my fingers that it would all work out. And thankfully it did! It was perfect. There weren’t many people around until the doors opened, and that gave us such an amazing window to get some incredible shots.
