Denver H.S. Senior Portraits, Meghan

I am trying to get more blogging done today, I have so many piled up right now!  I am trying to get so many things done in between doctor appointments, eye appointments and vet appointments, it must be that time of year again!  Along with all the sessions I had to reschedule due to the weather and flooding.  So, if you are waiting for something, I promise I am working on getting to it!

Meghan's session was at the Denver Performing Arts Center, my second session behind the scenes.  It was still just as exciting as the first and I loved seeing how excited she was when she saw all the Play posters.  It really is exciting to see all the posters and to imagine what it is like in those hallways on opening night.  The people that work there are amazingly friendly and helpful!  I really enjoyed meeting them. 




 She was in this play, so it was exciting to see it in the hallways!









 As we were taking pictures, this girl comes out of nowhere and says take our picture!  She was with a group that was on a Scavenger Hunt.  Notice in the second image, they are holding up 14 for the year Meghan graduates.

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain?
