Adam was a little reserved, so at first I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to get him to smile. It turns out I barely got him to smile, luckily his mom was able to crack him. I did get a wee bit of a smile when I told him "My dog Gretchen has a rabbit head in her mouth" story. But not much of a smile. I thought it was funny I asked him if he was excited about school and without a thought he said "NO!" When I asked him why, he said it was boring. I think it is so sad that so many kids think it is boring, if I know this, why don't teachers? And is it the teachers or the administration? But someone should do something to try and get these kids involved - I know way easier said than done. But I hear it a lot, usually there is a pause and some thought. Obviously Adam had already thought about it.
I love this one! I don't know what he was laughing about. He looks mischievous.
