Brighton Senior Portraits, Braeden and Cole

Braeden and Cole are two of my last Senior Models and what a great session!  We went to a lake and did some pictures around the lake and then we did some of them wake boarding.  I always love sessions where I get to do something different.  Even when I have to walk out over water, with all my camera gear, on a rocky metal walk way that may dump me in the water at any minute.  Totally love these sessions!  And I've been dying to blog about this session, but I have been so busy this week I don't even know which way is up right now.  So here they finally are - Braeden and Cole!

I love the truck images!  I actually had to take some out because there were so many.

I couldn't decide between color or black and white because Cole's eyes are so wonderful in the color image, but I loved the tonality of the black and white.... Decisions, decisions.

I loved this!  I really wanted them to jump in, but didn't think they would.  And when they did I was ecstatic!

I think images like these should totally be allowed in the yearbook!  I love them!

I know I am not the best sports photographer, but I sure had a fun time photographing these!   I wish we would have had more time, but I am always pressed for time with 2 Seniors.

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned. We wandered off a bit and found these incredible rocks off...
