Belle and Avery's Wedding Part 2

This was such a special day! From the moment I arrived, I could feel the love and excitement in the air. Avery and Isabella created a wedding that truly reflected who they are as a couple, and it was nothing short of magical.

I love Belle's slippers!  So cute!

These are so cute! I’m not positive, but I’m thinking they were very comfortable!  Definitely a perk on your wedding day!

I love these with the mirror!  I wish we had had more time to play with the mirror!  It’s not every day you get to photograph with a mirror that size!

I adore when a couple does a first look!  I loved how Avery’s face lit up when he saw her!  And she relaxed so much when she saw him!  This is why I encourage people to do a first look, because all that stress and connecting with the person you love can really melt it all away.

When Avery walked down the aisle with his mom, I admit I almost cried. I don’t think it’s just because of how long I have known Kristin, I think everyone there could see how much pride and joy she felt. But it meant so much more to me because of how long I have known this family, I couldn’t be more blessed to be the photographer for this wonderful wedding!  Moments like that remind me why I love what I do—capturing these powerful, emotional memories that will be cherished forever.  Even by me.

A couple of years ago, I did a photo session with Avery, his brothers and their cousin Mac.  I really couldn’t resist taking a quick moment to try and recreate it!  Hehe!  I am so thankful that Turner can still put this kid on his shoulders!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
