Belle and Avery's Wedding

If you know me, you know I am always excited about a wedding. And this wedding was extra super exciting for me! I have known Avery since he was probably 2. I have so many stories about this kid! He was always on the move and trying to keep up with his older brothers! And he always did it with an amazing smile! I was so excited to meet Belle because I knew she had to be special to fall in love Avery. And she is. She is so thoughtful and has so much consideration for Avery. Seeing these two together is like remembering what it's like to fall in love. They are just so sweet together!

I just love how they look at each other!

They got married at Brittany Hill and I was so excited about some of the outside areas!  And then the day came and the temperatures plummeted!  I was so bummed, there was no way I was about to have Belle standing outside in her dress for a long time.  Luckily, the inside is so cute! So we got a little bit of both.  AND!  We got snow at the end of the evening, so that was pretty awesome!
I love this one!  They are so cute together! I love how they look at each other and just laugh!

This is the Avery I am so used to!  When I did his senior pictures, he had me cracking up!  He can bring the serious or the funny!  He is such a well-rounded individual, I just love that about him!
I just love this one!
I love her dress!  It was absolutely gorgeous!  This part does not surprise me, Belle wasn’t a big dress girl.  So, I love that she went all out on her dress.  I hope she felt as good as she looked!  Because she looked amazing!

Look at those nails!  So pretty!  And her ring!  Gorgeous!

I am soooooo in love with these!  I am so thankful that they were up for going out in the snow!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
